Learning & Development
Learning built around the work people actually do — designed to change how they perform, not just to record that they attended.
Most organisations spend time and money on training, and many are unsure what it changes. Courses are chosen because they are available rather than because they address a specific gap, participants enjoy the day, and then they return to a job that works exactly as it did before. The learning never makes it back into the work.
We start from the other end: what people need to do differently in their roles, and what is getting in the way. Sometimes the answer is a programme; sometimes it is coaching, clearer expectations or a change in how the work is organised. Where training is the right answer, we design it around real situations from your organisation, so participants practise what they will actually use.
Just as much attention goes to what happens after the programme: how managers support people in applying what they learned, how progress is followed up and how you judge whether the investment was worthwhile.
What you get
What an engagement typically delivers. The exact scope is agreed with you first.
Learning-needs analysis
A clear picture of which skills matter most for your goals, where the gaps are, and which of them training can realistically close.
Programme and curriculum design
Programmes built around your roles and your situations, with the right mix of workshops, practice, on-the-job assignments and follow-up.
Facilitation and delivery
Practical, participative sessions, in person or online, paced for people who still have their day jobs to do.
Evaluation and transfer into the role
A simple way of following up after the programme — what is being applied, what support managers are giving and what should change next time.
How we work
Understanding the need
We talk to leaders, managers and, where useful, participants to understand what should change in the work and why, before anything is designed.
Designing the programme
We propose the format, content, timing and how success will be judged, and refine it with you before delivery begins.
Delivery
Sessions run as agreed, with practical exercises based on real cases from your organisation and short tasks to apply between sessions.
Follow-up and evaluation
After delivery we review with participants and their managers what is being used in practice, and agree any adjustments or next steps.
What changes
- Training spend directed at the skills that matter most to the organisation
- People who apply new skills in their roles, not only in the training room
- Managers who know how to support learning after a programme ends
- A clearer basis for deciding what to continue, change or stop
Common questions
Can you run a single workshop rather than a full programme?
Yes, when a single session is the right answer. We will still ask what it is meant to change, so the workshop is designed for that purpose rather than taken off the shelf.
Do you only deliver training, or can you help us build our own?
Both. We can design and deliver programmes ourselves, or help your internal team design, run and evaluate their own, including preparing internal facilitators.
How do you know whether the learning worked?
We agree at the start what should look different in the work, then follow up with participants and managers afterwards. The aim is an honest view of what is being applied, not a satisfaction score on the day.
How is it priced?
There is no standard price list, because the scope varies. We propose the cost together with the scope, so you can see both before you decide.
Let's talk about Learning & Development.
A short conversation is usually enough to tell whether we are the right fit.
